For over a quarter of a century, the Charlotte County Art Guild, Inc. has enhanced the lives of thousands of people. With a tradition of service always at its heart, the Guild provides a magnificent Visual Arts Center whose mission is to bring together everyone interested in art and give them the chance to appreciate, to learn, and to promote development of the visual arts in the community. The VAC offers over 200 classes in year round sessions for adults and children at all levels. The best instructors in the area teach classes in most visual media including: oil, acrylic, pastel, watercolor, photography, jewelry, pottery, metalwork, drawing, sculpture. It also houses one of the finest art library in Southwest Florida with thousands of books and videos on all aspects of art.
The Visual Arts Center sponsors more than a dozen shows where member and non-member artists exhibit their works in one of the three major galleries.
